The assistant editor here, where I’m working, just places tapes from layoffs he’s messed up on the shelf and grabs a new tape rather than just REWINDING the tape and starting again. I learned this the hard way, three times today.

It really irritates me when I see companies looking for “interns” when what they really want is nothing more than FREE work. It REALLY irritates me when it’s a company that’s mission statement says it’s dedicated to helping the poor. Really, certain company that’s offices are located in San Francisco and can afford rent but can’t afford to pay someone for their work?

I just spent the past two days driving nearly a thousand miles to my in-laws’ house and the first, FIRST, thing I see on TV when we get there is a commercial I graded, for a pain in the ass client, that doesn’t air near me.
